Sandra Biggin

Sandra’s Experience with art started when she was very young, and as she aptly states ‘I believe I was born to paint….Every thing I look at I see as a painting’… ‘… whether it is a landscape, sea scape, or people…..’ Oils became her choice of mediums… Until her discovery of Watercolours, Acrylics and Pastels ‘To me it is a never ending journey to experiment and enjoy my life as an Artist.’ ‘Now I have skills in many more styles and mixed mediums’. Sandy has had the privilege of being commissioned by Ergon to paint a posthumos portrait of
the Great man James Goldston, Founder of Engineers Australia, and the portrait hangs in the
Central Queensland University in the James Goldston Building. She has won many awards in art competitions and even though she says she is basically a
self taught artist she has attended workshops with world renowned Artists, and learnt a few
useful tips on her progressive journey to be above average. ‘My Art is from the Heart’ Sandy Biggin.
